What is a treble bet?
A treble bet is one bet on three selections in different events. All three must win. The odds multiply, so trebles pay well when they land.
Treble worked example
A £10 treble on 2/1, 3/1 and 5/2 returns £420.00 if all three win. Splitting the same £10 into 3 singles on the same picks would return £35.00 if all three won.
When a treble suits you
- Three selections you're confident about.
Watch out for
- One loser and the whole bet loses.
- If you want cover for two winners out of three, look at a Trixie or a Patent.
